Sieve of Eratosthenes

The Sieve of Eratosthenes is credited to being discovered by Eratosthenes^[1]https://paideias.com/eratosthenes/ . The math theory  is marking as composite numbers  (i.e. not prime) the multiples of each prime, starting with the multiples of 2.

While no remnants of any written works by Eratosthenes exist, he is given credit for this Prime Sieve due to being given such an honor by Nicomachus in the well known work titled Introduction to Arithmetic ^[2]Introduction to Arithmetic by Nicomachushttps://paideias.com/eratosthenes/.

The Sieve of Eratosthenes stood as the fastest way for man to create prime numbers for over two thousand years.
